CoEnzyme Q10 with Lecithin is a chewable, emulsified dietary supplement used to maintain normal cardiac health.

Each chewable tablet supplies pure coenzyme Q10, 100 mg., emulsified with 250 mg. of Lecithin in a base of natural sweeteners including fructose. (Approximately 2 1/2 calories per tablet: 2 1/4 calories from Lecithin; 1/4 calorie from natural sweeteners.)

Actions: Coenzyme Q10 is important for cell health as well as energy production. One of the main focuses of research with CoQ10 is with cardiovascular patients. Studies have found that levels of Coenzyme Q10 are low in people with heart disease because CoQ10 is heavily concentrated in the mitochondria cells in the heart. This also explains how vital the role of Ubiquinone is in overall health. The body's levels of Coenzyme Q-10 decline with age, therefore it is necessary to supplement the diet. Food does not contain significant amounts of CoQ10 and the body does not produce enough Coenzyme Q10 on its own, so supplementation is imperative in order to have adequate amounts of it. Recent research has shown that Lecithin and Choline are essential dietary components of optimal nutrition. Essential functions are supported by Lecithin and its phosphatidyl choline component. Lecithin emulsifies fat, breaks down cholesterol and helps the body maintain normal cholesterol levels.
